Online Notary Services

RON – Remote Online Notarization was started several years ago and has now taken off to be a great option for you to have specific documents notarized without ever having to leave the comfort of your own home or office. But there are conditions and while it is not something that is offered in every state, it can be recognized as a valid document by all states if done correctly.

These documents include – a power of attorney, deeds, trust certificates, real estate, auto title transfers, spouse consent, affidavits and more.

RON is the process of notarizing a document remotely by using an electronic signature, identity verification, audio-visual and electronic notarial journal and record keeping technologies. If it is done properly then the act is legal and admissible just like a traditional paper notarized, just with the convenience of doing it online.

In order to get a RON you must actually first authenticate yourself through what is called a dynamic KBA – Knowledge Based Authentication. The process uses third party databases to use public records to verify who you are through multiple questions. You also must provide your full name, date of birth, address, and SSN as well as a valid government issues ID. When all that is verified you can then join the website that the notary uses to have your documents done for you.

There are multiple sites out there for you to use for getting RON, many are available 24/7 and the costs are reasonable. If you do have a specific notary that you do wish to use then you need to contact them and have it set up at a time that suits all parties the best.

If you need a notarization done, I use Blue Note and will have a link to the site below and we can set up a date and time for it to be done.
