Long before social media pages were like they are today there were online groups that were there to help make friends, gain information, ask questions and more. These were a life saver for many including myself. It gave me the chance to link up with people in whatever state or country I was at the time, help others and just give me peace knowing I wasn’t alone. I belong to several groups and those ladies helped me through moves, deployments, retiring, divorce, and more. 20 years later I am still friends with a lot of them and we have watched out for each other through thick and thin, kids growing up, kids getting married and even a few grandkids being born. Those sadly have gone away and while there is information out there, many do not know where to search.
This page will hopefully help you with some information and links to the best websites to use. If you do have any questions please feel free to ask away and I will gladly try and help you out. While I am no longer a military spouse, I still do have information and contacts, plus both of my children are now part of the military, one as a spouse and the other as a Reservist.
